Rotterdam took action against deportations in Merksplas/Belgium
Sunday february 5th 2012 , Occupy Rotterdam took action against deportations in Merksplas/Belgium. Closed detention center Steenweg op Wortel is locking up people with no passports. Occupy Rotterdam says : No man is illegal. Stop deportations now. Occupy Rotterdam is calling to support this kind of actions. These actions are held every first sunday of the month in Holland.This time people from all over Holland (Zaandam, Breda, Rotterdam,Eindhoven, Tilburg) went to Belgium. Today they went to the detention center where Ibby was locked up after his action on Christmas- Eve 2011.
Ibby walks from Oslo to the Netherlands, he went to Amsterdam, Den Haag and Rotterdam, where he stayed with us for a couple of weeks, he walked to belgium… all this, without touching money, or use public transport.
